New Witness in Ramgen Revilla Case Surfaces

A new witness in the slaying of actor-politician Ramgen Revilla was presented by the Parañaque City police yesterday, November 8.

Lloyd Comeda, named as one of the hired killers of 23-yr old Ramgen, substantiates the information that the victim’s siblings, Ramon Joseph “RJ” Bautista and Ramona Bautista, plus Michael Nartea and Roy Francis Tolisora, plotted to kill Ramgen.

Testimony of Ramgen’s production assistant, Ronald Angcajas, was also submitted to the prosecutor. According to him, there’s really a rift between Ramgen and RJ and they have a dispute over money and cars. He said the conflict between brothers started when RJ, 18, sold his new Mitsubishi Strada for P800,000. Ramgen was often using that car so he told their father, Ramon Revila Sr, what RJ did. Revilla Sr. was displeased so he tried to teach son a lesson by refusing to pay the down payment of RJ’s newly purchased Mitsubishi Montero car. Thus began the rift between the brothers which Chief Inspector Sy, head of Task Force Ramgen, suspects to be the motive for the crime.

Meanwhile, RJ now officially faces charges of murder and frustrated murder as the complaint filed against him has advanced to the Parañaque Regional Trial Court. Arraignment is set on November 16, 2011.
