Miss Venezuela Ivian Sarcos, 21, was crowned the 61st Miss World beating 122 contestants who competed at the pageant held in London on Sunday.
Sarcos is a human resources graduate currently working for a broadcasting company. Her ambition is to work with children. She has already created her own foundation to help youngsters.
Gwendoline Ruais of the Philippines is 1st runner-up and Amanda Perez of Puerto Rico is 2nd runner-up.
Candidates who made it to top 15 are Indonesia, Korea, Italy, Sweden, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Venezuela, Philipines, US Virgin Islands, Spain, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Scotland and England. Afterwards, the top 7 called are Korea, Venezuela, England, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa and Scotland.
Next year’s host country for the beauty pageant is Ordos City in Inner Mongolia, China.
