Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty
Chris Brown pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles court to charges of assault and criminal threats stemming from the alleged beating of his girlfriend, R&B singer Rihanna. If convicted on the two felony counts charged against him, Brown could face a sentence ranging from probation to four years and eight months in state prison.
His mother was also present during the hearing, sitting in the front row of the courtroom and giving her 19-year old son moral support.

There’s a great possibility that the Vatican will boycott the film Angels and Demons. According to Reuters, Vatican’s official newspaper ran a story on their Friday’s edition expressing that the Church “cannot approve” of such a problematic film.
Arrest warrant for actress Lindsay Lohan was withdrawn by Beverly Hills judge Marsha Revel on Monday, March 16. Revel ordered the arrest last Saturday saying that Lohan had not been complying with the terms of her probation for a 2007 DUI conviction. Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, submitted proofs of the actress’s compliance during the brief hearing (where Lindsay didn’t show up). “It just stemmed from a misunderstanding”, according to Holley.
