Sony is reportedly trying to get Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, Moneyball) to write the biopic of the late Apple and Pixar co-founder Steve Jobs. Sony bought the film rights to Walter Isaacson’s biography Steve Jobs just two days after the tech icon’s passing and weeks before the book hit the shelves.
A source says Sorkin is considering the prospect but haven’t made a decision yet.
The Oscar-winning Social Network writer and the tech visionary knew each other as Jobs once asked Sorkin to write a movie for Pixar which the latter declined saying that his kid adores Pixar movies and he doesn’t want to disappoint her by writing the only bad movie in the history of Pixar.
