David Archuleta, Katy Perry to Have Benefit Concert for Typhoon Ondoy Victims

The supposed Philippine concert of international pop star Katy Perry this coming October 3 was postponed due to Typhoon Ondoy.
Instead of the originally set Katy concert, MTV Philippines (producer of “Katy Perry Live in Manila”) is now planning to hold a benefit concert with American Idol runner-up David Archuleta and Boys Like Girls joining Katy.
The net proceeds of the benefit concert will go to the Philippine Red Cross, in support of the Ondoy victims. There are no final confirmation as of yet, but the concert is tentatively scheduled for October 17th.
