BUZZ OVERLOAD

John Lloyd Cruz & Sarah Geronimo had been officially declared as the new Box Office King & Queen for their blockbuster team-up in “A Very Special Love”. This is the second time for John Lloyd as he was also last year’s Box Office King for the movie “One More Chance” opposite Bea Alonzo (who was also last year’s Box Office Queen).

John Lloyd’s reaction when he first heard the news:

“Thank you very much to the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Foundation for giving me and Sarah this honor. Kakakuha ko lang last year (ng Box Office King title) for One More Chance, this year it’s happening again. Maraming, maraming salamat po for this great recognition. I would like to share this recognition with the whole team of A Very Special Love, Direk Cathy Garcia Molina, sa napakahusay na supporting cast, napakalaki ng ginampanan nila sa pelikula. Of course kay Sarah na currently ay nasa US doing her concert tour. Sarah, I’m sure makakarating sa ‘yo ‘tong balitang ito at napakaganda ng uuwian mo dahil officially ikaw na ang Box Office Queen for the year. Congratulations to all of us, Star Cinema and Viva Films.”

Sarah started her US Concert Tour 2nd week of March and won’t be back probably until May. She garnered, not only 1 but also 2 more Box Office awards, as Female Concert Performer of the Year and Female Recording Artist of the Year for The Next One.
