Trivia:

  • Alternative titles are Adrenalina 2 (Brazil), Crank 2 and Crank 2: High Voltage (USA).
  • The movie picks up exactly where the first film left off (immediately after Chev hits the ground at the end of Crank) to retain its “real-time” feel.
  • Former child actor Corey Haim will have a cameo appearance in the film, reportedly in a nude scene. Also appearing in the film are porn star Jenna Haze, Linking Park frontman Chester Bennington, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan, UFC fighter Keith Jardine and former Nine Inch Nails member Danny Lohner.
  • Like the first film, the production budget will be lower than $20 million so in order to help keep costs low, the filmmakers used low cost prosumer HDV cameras such as the Canon XH-A1, as well as consumer model, the Canon HF10.
  • The soundtrack will be by musician Elliott Smith, majority will be done by Mike Patton. Linkin Park’s song, Given Up, will also be featured in the movie.
