The trailer for epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman is already out. The film, directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Evan Daugherty, stars Kristen Stewart (Twilight) as Snow White, Charlize Theron (Monster) as the evil queen, Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as the huntsman and Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) as the prince. Other members of the cast are Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Nick Frost, Ray Winstone, Lily Cole, Bob Hoskins and Eddie Marsan.
In this dark retelling of the legendary tale, the evil queen learns that Snow White, the only person in the land fairer than her, is her key to eternal youth and beauty . She then hires a huntsman to kill Snow White but he ended up protecting and training Snow White in the arts of war instead.
Snow White and the Huntsman hits theaters June 1, 2012.
