In a parallel reality, lying or even the concept of lying, does not exist. Everyone speaks the truth no matter what consequences that truth may bring.
But when Mark (Ricky Gervais), a down-on-his-luck loser, suddenly develops the ability to lie, he seizes the opportunity to wield its power for personal gain.
Everything is going so well for Mark and he was able to easily lie his way to fame and fortune..until things got a little out of control…
